The Service

Live Ruler is a free, browser-based measurement tool. It displays rulers on your screen that, after calibration, approximate real-world physical measurements in centimeters, millimeters, inches, and pixels.

Accuracy Disclaimer

Live Ruler provides approximate measurements based on your screen's calibration. While we strive for accuracy and offer multiple calibration methods, the measurements should not be relied upon for applications where precision is safety-critical, including but not limited to: medical device sizing, structural engineering, pharmaceutical dosing, or any application where an inaccurate measurement could result in harm.

For critical measurements, always verify with a certified physical measuring instrument.

Intellectual Property

The Live Ruler name, logo, design, and code are the property of HTech. You may use the tool freely for personal and commercial measurement purposes. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell the tool's source code, design, or assets.

No Warranty

Live Ruler is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that measurements will be accurate on all devices and browsers.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall HTech or the creators of Live Ruler be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including damages resulting from inaccurate measurements.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
